The Oakfield Historical Society maintains the Oakfield Railroad Museum. The museum is staffed by Oakfield Historical Society volunteers and is steeped in the lore of the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad and the importance of the town as a division point.
You may even find yourself talking to a retired Bangor & Aroostook railroader while visiting!
Railroad history lives at the Oakfield Station!
